Common questions.
How do I create a community?
Open the app, tap the "+" button on the Communities screen, give the community a name, and invite your first members by email or a shareable link. Communities are private and invite-only.
How do I invite people?
Inside a community, open Settings → Members → Invite. You can send invites by email or copy a one-time invite link to share over your existing chat or text.
How do I leave a community?
Open the community, tap its name to open Settings, then "Leave community." Owners need to transfer ownership before leaving.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your account and personal posts within 30 days. Posts in shared spaces may be retained in aggregate (e.g. attendee counts) but are no longer attributed to you.
How do I export my community's data?
Community owners can export the full history of their group (messages, prayer requests, events) from Settings → Community → Export. We email a downloadable archive once it's ready — usually within an hour.
I'm not getting notifications.
Check the OS settings for the app first — on iOS, Settings → Notifications → GroupKith; on Android, Settings → Apps → GroupKith → Notifications. Then check the in-app notification settings under Settings → Notifications.
How do I report a bug?
Email hello@groupkith.com with your device model, OS version, app version (Settings → About), and steps to reproduce. Screenshots help.
Is GroupKith free?
Yes for the core experience — small groups, families, and neighborhoods will always have a free tier. We may add paid tiers for larger communities (more storage, advanced admin tooling) in the future.
